“The true test
of character is…how we behave when we don’t know what to do” – John Holt
Looking back at life I have led until recently in Croatia I came to
understanding that my hobbies and daily exercise was mainly consisted in running to the
meetings, jumping to the conclusions, stretching the truth and pushing long
coffee breaks.
I was never very proud of the fact that I was giving much more time and
attention to my work rather then to my true self. Very often I would come with
the list of habits that I want to change or with the list of things that I would
like to bring into my life, but rarely I would actually do it…
I use to fool myself with the idea that I will start going to gym from next
Monday or that I will stop smoking after this weekend.... it was always something
that I want to do tomorrow or the day after, always something projected into
the future...
As I'm miles away from my usual excuses I decided to do something (for me) incredible: to action myself today...Yes, today, not tomorrow or next Monday, but right now... and isn't it amazing how little actions, little changes in your daily routine can bring so much peace and happiness..
So, what can you do right now to be happier today?
And it doesn’t matter if you have blank page of life to fill in like I
do, or if you are emerged into your daily busy routine - today you have a unique
chance to make something for yourself and to be better person than you were yesterday, and even if, your budget is
limited like mine, don’t despair…
